The couple we are going with, Doug and Betty (D&B), purchased a MIO 300 GPS unit yesterday for the trip. I have agreed to do all the driving because I love to drive. Doug will navigate. He's making his job easier with the GPS!
We met them for dinner at Ivar's Fish & Chips on Lake Washington tonight and he brought along the GPS for me to learn. I took it home and will play with it and learn the software and I'll be able to help him should we need to do something out of the ordinary when we are on the road.
I'm going to see if I can figure out if the GPS coordinates can be put on an Internet map somewhere so that I have a record of where we went during the trip. We'll see.
